Motivation shows up late
Today's Lesson: Motivation is what you get after you start, not what gets you started.
You wait for Monday. Then for the schedule to calm down. Then to feel like yourself again. The feeling doesn't arrive, and the week goes by.
Here is what actually happened: you were waiting on something that only shows up once you're already moving. Almost nobody feels like training beforehand. The people who do it anyway feel good twenty minutes in.
The Fix: shrink the start until willpower isn't required.
Put the shoes on. Do the first set. Walk to the end of the street. You're allowed to stop there and it still counted.
So stop waiting to feel ready. Start small enough that ready stops mattering. That's it.
That's today's lesson: Action comes first. The feeling follows it.
Want a plan small enough that you'll actually start it? Most programs are written for someone with no job, no kids and no bad weeks. Book 30 minutes with one of our coaches and we'll build around the week you really have.
Already starting before you feel like it? That's the skill everything else sits on. Lessons keep coming regardless.
P.S. Waiting to feel ready is just quitting with better manners :)
