The calories you don't notice
Today's Lesson: Liquid calories don't register with you, and they don't fill you up either.
You keep your meals honest all day. Then there's a large coffee drink in the morning, a soda at lunch, a couple of beers at night, and you can't work out why nothing is changing.
Here is what actually happened: none of that felt like eating, so none of it got counted. Your body never made that distinction.
The Fix: look in the cup before you change anything on the plate.
Pick the one you'd miss least and swap it. Keep the one you actually enjoy. You are not required to give up both.
So before you cut another food you like, spend a day noticing what you drink. That's it.
That's today's lesson: Nobody counts what they drink. Everybody should look once.
Want to find the easy wins before you give up food you like? There are usually two or three, and they're rarely the ones people expect. Book 30 minutes with one of our coaches and we'll go through what a normal week actually looks like for you.
Already handled your drinks? Good. That's one of the easiest wins there is, and you've taken it. These keep coming every day.
P.S. You don't have to quit coffee. Just look at what's in it :)
