Today's Lesson: You'd never talk to a friend the way you talk to yourself.

Picture someone you care about telling you their week went sideways. Missed two workouts, ate badly Thursday, feels like they're back at zero.

Here is what actually happened: you'd tell them it was two days, not a failure. You'd tell them to start again tomorrow. You would not call them lazy.

The Fix: give yourself the answer you'd give them.

That isn't softness. Harsh self-talk doesn't make anyone more consistent. It just makes quitting feel like relief.

So before next week starts, look back honestly and fairly. Both of those words matter. That's it.

That's today's lesson: Be as fair to yourself as you'd be to a friend.

Want accountability that holds you to it without beating you up about it? If that sounds like what you need, one of our coaches can walk you through how it works on a quick 30-minute call.

Already steady and kind with yourself about it? That's the hard part done. These lessons keep coming.

P.S. Accountability and self-punishment aren't the same tool :)
